Especially given it was taken with the potato-iest potato to ever potato.

Just like the one my sister had. That color sedan, those wheels, that version of the quasi-clear signal, same trim.

Your potato is like an expensive camera compared to SM70's potato. He even has "Worst Photo of" posts dedicated to it.

I did some severe retouching to this to make it not a washed out/lens flared/grainy mess... but yeah, I can't wait to have a better phone for those quick photoshoots again.

I've never actually seen one trimmed out the same as this. Even my friend with an '85 DL has just about everything different as this. I can't decide if I like the signals or not on this thing, they need to be replaced so it's just a question of what with...

You can pick up the older silver editions for cheap and unless you care about slow my high fps stuff they're still really good for what they do.

Some day, when I don't have other things to buy, that I want/need more. Like a manual transmission and all the shit that I need for a swap. Fucking auto's man.

I've never done an auto-manual conversion.. seems like a lot of work. I know a dude in town who did that with his Cressida wagon and it was like a 6 month adventure... although I'm sure parts are more rare for those things.

I plan on buying a donor vehicle. That is probably the cheapest and easiest way of doing it. Plus, it's pretty easy finding a second gen 4Runner with a blown engine.

Wouldn't it just be easier to buy a manual one and sell yours?

For the average one, yes, but mine is a California car, so it is pretty much 100% rust/dent free. That, along with finding a manual, is relatively difficult. Plus, I have an attachment to it. I've turned down decent(more than what I would normally get for it) offers more than once.

Hmmm... well that should be quite the adventure.

Luckily there is plenty of room to work with.
